Indiana is home to a wide range of colleges and universities of all sizes, most of which offer options to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Martin University
Department of Natural and Social Science
Martin University is a private coeducational university founded by Rev. Boniface Hardin and Sister Jane Schilling in 1977. It’s dedicated to providing higher education for students of all colors and backgrounds marginalized in some way by society. It is the only predominantly African-American University in the state of Indiana. Martin University serves over 1,000 students annually has a mission of “providing excellence in educating and developing all students, with expertise in serving and empowering low-income, minority and adult learners, in a healthy and collegiate environment”. Martin University offers 14 undergraduate degrees along with two Master’s Degrees. Some of the highlights of the university are:

Bachelor of Science in Psychology

It also looks at historical trends in psychology as they apply to human behavior, learning, and development. Upon completion of the program graduates will have the following competencies as stated by the university:

- interpretation

Purdue University – Calumet, is one of the regional campuses in the Purdue University System. It’s a public institution founded in 1946 with an undergraduate enrollment more than 8,000 students. The Department of Psychology
Saint Joseph’s College (SJC) is a private Coeducational Catholic Liberal Arts institution located located in Rensselaer, in Northwest Indiana. It has an undergraduate enrollment of 1,148 students, In 2015, US News & World Report ranked St. Joseph’s College’s as the 28th best college or university in the Midwest Region. of the United States.
