Federal Work Study
The Federal Work Study, FWS, is a federally funded financial aid option that is available to students who demonstrate a significant need. Students are able to work part-time, up to 20 hours per week, to earn money to assist students in paying for college expenses. The program encourages students to pursue positions that are related to their course of study or those that benefit the surrounding community. Students are paid every other week and make at least the current federal minimum wage.
